Shift Cover Policy – Staff Responsibility & Communication
We understand that staff may be unwell and unable to come to work, and that is completely understandable.
However, there are no extra staff available at head office to cover shifts. If head office has to step in for one store, it can affect the operation of all stores.
Please also understand that while store staff have scheduled breaks, head office staff are not always able to take breaks due to ongoing responsibilities across all stores.
This applies not only during busy periods, but at all times.
For this reason, each store team must communicate and arrange shift cover among themselves first, instead of relying on head office.
Let’s support each other — when you need help, someone else can step in, and when others need help, you can do the same.
